Heads Up was founded in 1985, first developing a digital audio checklist system for pilots, allowing them to fly “heads up.” Since then, the company has widened its expertise to include information and warning systems for the cockpit and cabin.

Most recently, the company expanded its electronic and digital audio capabilities to produce LED lighting for cabin interiors as well as satellite radio and weather solutions, in association with XM Satellite Radio.
