Lumin™ features touch screens that are customized to blend seamlessly into the cabin interior, preserving the integrity of the interior design of the jet. Lumin™ technology can be used to create a design that is unique to the OEM’s brand.

Lumin™ takes its design cues from current trends in consumer products, such as smart phones and tablet PC’s.

“The goal was to create a timeless and elegant design that is easy-to-use,” said Rob Harshaw, president and CEO, Heads Up Technologies. “Lumin™ adopts the current trends in consumer technology. It abstracts the complexity, allowing the user to simply enjoy the experience.”

Lumin™ spotlights fiber optic, distributed processing, wireless, and digital content management technologies. Passengers enjoy an intuitive touchscreen user interface, which is customized to support the branding of the interior space. The system incorporates Blu-ray, digital audio libraries, Internet, seat-to-seat texting, and cabin control functions, while simultaneously reducing weight and power consumption.

Heads Up Technologies announces integrated In-Flight Entertainment System

System integrates High Definition monitors, Blu-ray players, ultra-thin passenger controllers,
satellite radio and much more for small and mid-size cabins.

Carrollton, Texas – March 10, 2011 – Heads Up Technologies, Inc., a leading
supplier of electronic solutions for general aviation and commercial aircraft, has
developed a new In-Flight Entertainment System designed specifically for small to
mid-sized cabins.

Heads Up’s system delivers the functionality and quality associated with high-end
systems, but at an affordable price. A “Best-in-Class” viewing experience and a large
variety of audio entertainment options are offered as standard - all easily managed
with an ultra-thin passenger control panel that integrates smoothly into cabin interiors
where space is at a premium. Eliminating the need for additional loose components
such as handheld remote controls, the passenger control panel has an integrated
headphone jack and can be plated to match existing interiors.

The Premier system supports up to (4) independent passenger controls, while an
Executive system provides capacity for (8). Passengers can easily select between
audio and video sources, such as Blu-ray players, gaming equipment, satellite radio,
MP3’s and more. All monitors are High Definition and support wide-screen formats.
Satellite radio is a standard option, and an auxiliary panel device provides for
attachment of other media, such as gaming equipment and other personal audio/video
entertainment devices. The system’s design reduces parts count by up to 40% from
traditional systems, while providing cleaner video images.

“I am very excited about this system’s unique features and design quality, all of which
you’d expect to see in much larger and more expensive alternatives. The level of
integration in this system is another key feature. Aircraft owners and installing dealers
will benefit from avoiding installation problems and on-going maintenance issues
associated with trying to piece together a collection of loosely coupled components.”,
said David Groos, Sr VP, Sales and Marketing, for Heads Up. “Our approach has
been to provide a mid-range entertainment system that was integrated, high
functioning, easy to use and affordable.”

The STC is on a Part 25 aircraft, and production deliveries are anticipated in 2nd
quarter 2011. DAC International (http://www.dacint.com) will provide aftermarket
distribution of the system worldwide.

Spirit Avionics team completes the prototype Federal Aviation Administration King Air B300 Flight Inspection Aircraft Interior Enhancement upgrades.
Port Columbus International Airport (CMH), Columbus, Ohio

December, 2010

Spirit Avionics Ltd. has successfully completed the prototype aircraft’s upgrades for the Federal Aviation Administration. Program Management, Engineering and Certification services were provided by Spirit Avionics Ltd. The technical services for this program were performed in unison by Spirit Avionics, Lane Aviation and Tritex Air. Now that the prototype’s design has been approved by the FAA program team, Spirit Avionics and their subcontracting team will begin the process of upgrading the remaining 17 King Air B300 aircraft over the next 4 years.

The program work scope included:Installed new Heads Up Technology’s cabin LED downwash, reading and entrance lights to increase cabin visibility, decrease energy consumption and increase reliability.
Designed, fabricated and installed a new 4 piece main cabin headliner that can be detached without removing other interior pieces. This modification will dramatically improve ease of removal and reinstallation during maintenance events.
Entire aircraft interior was refurbished with new leather and sheepskin seating surfaces, sidewall coverings, carpet and cabinetry.
Designed, fabricated and installed a new Skandia aircraft interior insulation/acoustical kit. This new insulation kit reduced cabin noise by 60%.
Designed, fabricated and installed a cockpit cooling fan solution.

Some of the unique challenges that were encountered and overcome over the course of the upgrade were:Incomplete existing aircraft interior made fit and finish of new interior pieces difficult. Due to obsolescence of those parts from the aircraft manufacturer, many interior pieces had to be redesigned and manufactured.
All modifications and upgrades performed were required to have a positive effect on maintenance efficiency and yet retain the feel of a business aircraft interior. These requirements were successfully achieved.

A complete LED cabin lighting system interfaces to the Cabin Management System to bring a new level of lighting design and sophistication to the King Air 350i.

Carrollton, Texas – October 19, 2009 – Heads Up Technologies, Inc., a leading
supplier of electronic solutions for general aviation and commercial aircraft, has
developed and qualified the LED cabin lighting system for the Beechcraft King Air
350i. Production deliveries begin in 4th quarter, 2009.

The LED cabin lighting system consisted of wash lighting, reading lights, table lights,
floor lighting, entry lights, lavatory lights, and accent lighting as well as the proprietary
controllers to interface all the lights to the Rockwell Collins VenueTM Cabin

a digital Ethernet bus. The new receivers will integrate with Honeywell’s Ovation
Select™ system - a customized, high quality, reliable Digital Cabin Management
System.

The Ovation Select™ XM Radio will provide over 170 audio channels of news, sports,
weather and music within the contiguous United States to the aircraft cabin
entertainment system. Options are available for two, four or eight receivers, enabling
independent passenger listening, and Ovation Select will provide command, control,
and audio distribution functionality. Control of the Ovation Select™ XM Radio is
provided via any of the installed control panels (Touchscreen, Select 100/200 PCUs or
a handheld remote).

New developments have also provided savings in weight, space and power
requirements in some models. As an example, a new 8-receiver unit reduces weight
and space requirements by approximately 40% over previous versions with a 30%
savings in current draw.

“Honeywell’s CMS was the first cabin management system to integrate the Heads Up
family of XM cabin-class radio receivers. Today, we are pleased to announce another
first with the introduction of an ethernet based Sirius XM radio for Honeywell’s Ovation
Select™ customers.” said David Groos, Sr VP, Sales & Marketing for Heads Up
Technologies.

Heads Up Technologies delivers High Intensity LED Landing Lights for the Cessna CitationJet Family

Exterior LED lighting developments enhance performance while reducing weight,

now available on production CJ1, CJ2 and CJ3 aircraft.

High brightness LEDs were used to replace traditional incandescent bulbs for the
landing lights, wing inspection lights, tail flood lights, and overwing exit lights. These
LEDs used approximately one-third of the electrical current, reduced size, weight,
waste heat, and parts count, while improving light output performance.

“New developments in LED technology makes possible what seemed unreachable
only a few years ago.” said Rob Harshaw, President/CEO for Heads Up. “We believe
we have developed and qualified the first LED landing light that is standard equipment
on a production aircraft” he added.

The family of exterior lights will be on display at Heads Up’s booth #4754 at the NBAA
in Orlando, Fl.
