Annunciators
Heads Up offers a wide variety of caution/warning annunciator panels to fit specific OEM or system integrator requirements. A few of our projects include:
CWS100 – a low-cost caution/warning panel with LED display. Eight inputs with active-ground logic provide warning, caution and advisory information to the flight crew. Sunlight readable long-life LED display features low power consumption and cool operation. Display legends and colors can be configured to meet customer requirements. (Certification/Compliance: 14 CFR Part 21, RTCA/DO-160C)
CWS200 – provides digital voice/tone warnings to the flight crew while controlling audio mixing levels of up to 8 audio inputs. The unit automatically adjusts the volume of 2 independent audio outputs based on information obtained from the air data computers via ARINC 429 interface. Field programmable using a laptop computer w/RS-232. (Certification/Compliance: 14 CFR Part 21, RTCA-DO-160D, RTCA/DO-178B, Level C)
CWS300 – redundant, high-performance digital caution/warning unit integrates visual and audio messaging. Monitors up to 112 discrete aircraft inputs to provide warning, caution and advisory information. High-output LED technology illumination for exceptional readability under all ambient lighting conditions yet provides very cool operation. Ideal for mounting in glare shields or other direct sunlight locations. Display colors and legends can be modified for custom applications. Parametric programming controls input trigger levels, logic levels, debounce times, associated visual and audio messages, master caution/master warning triggers and much more. Complex logic capabilities and multiple processors reduce nuisance warnings while enhancing reliability. RS-232 interface allows for remote diagnostics without removal. CWS425 – solid-state, 72-channel caution/warning panel with LED display. The chassis-mounted annunciator is excellent for low-standby current applications. Seventy-two inputs with active-ground logic are monitored to provide warning, caution and advisory information. Sunlight readable long-life LED display provides for low power consumption and cool operation. Display legends and colors can be configured to meet customer requirements. Digital tone/voice generators, 429 interfaces and complex logic modules are optional.

CWS525 – high-performance digital caution/warning unit integrates visual and audio messaging. Monitors up to 76 discrete aircraft inputs and provides warning, caution and advisory information. The high-contrast 56-element LCD display incorporates unique LED backlighting for exceptional readability under all ambient light conditions. Ideal for mounting in glare shield or other direct sunlight locations within the cockpit. Display colors and legends can be modified for custom applications.
