XM radio FOR single engine AIRCRAFT

Maybe you are a weekend warrior and do not require separate channels for your passengers. That is great because Heads Up has recently announced a perfect fit. You can still grab all the XM programming and bring it into the cockpit with a Bluetooth Remote Control. That’s right — one remote lets you see and manage categories, channels, pre-sets, volume and much more.

Easy Installation.
What’s more natural than managing with a remote control? Nothing to install in your cockpit. No wires to get in your way. The Bluetooth remote lets the pilot or passenger directly interact with the XM audio programming, therefore retaining the aircraft MFD for more vital flight operations. In addition to simply being easier, it is simpler on your budget.

Technology That Simplifies.
Utilizing Bluetooth wireless technology and an OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) display, the radio functionality is managed via remote control. The display uses less power than similar devices while providing superior illumination and graphics clarity. Unlike traditional infrared remotes requiring line of sight transmission, Bluetooth operates through low-density walls and other obstructions.

Complete Functionality.
All of XM’s programming is at your finger tips. Users can scroll through the many categories and channels to determine artist names, song titles and satellite and battery strength. Or simply utilize direct key entry. Presets, mute and volume functions are provided as well as memory keys, which allow you to save up to 10 artist names and song titles for future reference.
