Addison, Texas --- March 6, 2025 --- STG Aerospace, part of the Heads Up Technologies Group, is set to unveil its groundbreaking ‘eco SSUL-X’ concept at Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) 2025, focusing on sustainability in emergency exit marking systems. Building on the success of saf-Tglo® eco E1™, launched at AIX 2024, sustainable learnings will be rolled out to the firm’s entire saf-Tglo® SSUL-X™ range by the end of 2025.

The key to this extended sustainable product range lies in the use of recycled materials and a bio additive designed to eliminate forever plastics, by ensuring that wherever the products are at end of life, they will biodegrade.

The launch of STG Aerospace's ‘eco SSUL-X’ concept is an essential part of the company’s overarching vision to support the aviation industry’s journey towards achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. By offering products that combine both exceptional performance and sustainability, STG is helping airlines meet these ambitious goals, one step at a time, all while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

In addition to unveiling the extended sustainable range, Heads Up Technologies and ALTO Aviation, will be introducing the latest Passenger Briefing System (PBS) PBS700-50, and premium cabin audio options at AIX 2025. This advanced system is designed to offer regional and major carriers alike the highest quality passenger briefings and background music with ease and efficiency.

The next-generation system provides studio-quality voice announcements and customisable onboard messaging, including safety briefings, route updates, and boarding music, all triggered automatically based on inputs from the aircraft. This seamless integration with the flight deck reduces the workload for flight attendants, allowing them to focus on other critical aspects of passenger service. Flight attendants can operate the PBS700-50 through an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) and keypad, designed for both capacitive touch and tactile switch navigation.
